1 Luv made her national debut on Simon Cowell’s singing competition “X Factor” season 1, in which she progressed to the top twenty girls in 2012. In 2016, she competed on American Idol’s 15th season on Fox advancing to the final 75 contestants. She has used her high energy stage productions to land opportunities opening for acts like Wu-Tang Clan, Jagged Edge, and Jason Nelson and has shared the bill with Icona Pop, Emeli Sande, and Cher Lloyd.
In 2012, 1 Luv placed second at the legendary Apollo Theatre in Harlem, New York. In 2013, she was selected to perform at the Cherry Blossom Festival and the third largest pride event in America in Washington D.C. 1 Luv represents unity, diversity, acceptance, and LUV. She performs meaningful, eclectic shows that motivate, inspire and leave you with a powerful message.
Alongside studying voice, music production, and songwriting for tv and film, 1 Luv earned her Master’s Certificate in Music Business from Berklee College of Music. After college, she spent a few years travelling, performing in over 200 live shows and recording and songwriting for over 200 projects internationally.
She continues to actively perform, write music, and connect with fans every day. In 2021, 1 Luv placed number 1 in the world on the streaming app Sessions Live.
